Ordinary People — Extraordinary God

I am a woman striving after God's own heart, a follower of Jesus.  I am an ordinary woman, but recognize that makes me a ready instrument for the Lord.  This blog exists to tell the stories of ordinary people, through whom God chooses to do extraordinary things for His name's sake!  My goal is to post stories of those I meet so that we can celebrate together how God uses "normal people" for the His purposes.

My name is Anna Melvin. I live in Austin, Texas and am a writer and stay-at-home wife. My husband, Andy Melvin, is a musician, songwriter, producer, and worship leader. We are partners with the Austin Stone Community Church, where we serve the Lord with our whole hearts. The only story I have worth telling on a blog is God's story. His story through Scripture, and His story through the lives of people I know, meet, and read about. So here it is...
